Over 500+ members have not beennotified of the AGM, by the Ngati Toa, Raukawa,Atiawa Whakarongotai Reservation - Atiawa ki Whakarongotai Charitable Trust AGM on 3 March, 2012.

The registered trustees are not in control oforganising this AGM it is solely in the Hands of Advisor Bill Carter.

According to the Trust Deed:

Nominations for Trustee Papers due, 35 Days prior to Elections
Names of those nominated due, 20 days prior to AGM – 12/02/2012
Voting Papers due, 20 days prior to AGM – 12/02/2012
AGM Report due today, 20 daysprior to AGM – 12/02/2012

The following questions havebeen sent to the Charities Commission Investigator:

When was the last fullmeeting held by all registered trustees?
Who is the 2012 returning officer?
Who are thenominees for 2012 AGM?
Who is receiving and holding the nomination papers?
Who is actuallywriting the Atiawa ki Whakarongotai Trust AGM reports?
Have all the Trusteesread AGM report ?
Have allTrustees approved AGM report in minutes at a Trustees meeting?
Have allregistered trustees put their hand-written signatures on AGM report?
Who of theregistered trustees decides who is to be eliminated from receivingdocumentation pertaining to AGMs?
Who is the scrutiniser?

According to two Trustees at the Marae Hui, 12 February 2012, they didnot know who the nominees were and did not know anything about the AGM report. The trustees were told by trust members in theMarae Hui the AGM was illegal.

A complaint and request have been made to the

Charities Commission tostop this ILLEGAL AGM.

Nothing has changed sincethe original complaints were made three years ago by Atiawa ki WhakarongotaiCharitable Trust members, a trust that operates under the rules of Māori FisheriesAct.

A number of people have worked behind the scenes to give Ngatiawa ki Kapiti a place at the WAI claims table. Manyof our whanau are very excited about the progress we have made. 98% of Ngatiawatuturu are united on our claims, with several working in an amicableprogressive collective manner. Atiawa ki Whakarongotai Charitable Trust will not bemanaging Ngatiawa ki Kapiti claims as the trust belongs to Ngati Toa, Raukawaand Atiawa, with the Atiawa, name used as the flag. The tuturu Ngatiawa kiKapiti claimants have asserted independence. Ngati Toa and Raukawa have their own Treaty Claims underway. Ngatiawa ki Kapiti does not and cannot represent Ngati Toa or Raukawa in their claims. FACEBOOK IS BEING USED TO NOTIFY OUR WHANAU AND HAPU OFIMPORTANT EVENTS THAT AFFECT ALL OF US. Charities Commission Mediation Hui

The Charities Commission meeting has been rescheduled. A detailed list of recommended changesacceptable to a majority of Atiawa ki Whakarongotai Charitable Trust waslodged with the commission two months ago.

A ploy to delay Charities Commission Mediation Hui by the BackroomConductors Daniel Mullen, and Bill Carter not the actual Trustees themselves, untilafter the Atiawa ki Whakarongotai Charitable Trusts, March 2012 AGM – has thepotential to backfire…

Neither of the conductors needs to attend this Hui. There will be candidates under their controlbeing lobbied for to become new trustees at the March AGM 2012. So the new trustees can attend the charities'commission mediation meeting, to threaten, intimidate, control the output of Hui,and maintain the chaos.

Discussions are being held with Charities Commission Investigatoron the AGM issue, as we are looking for progressive resolutions, and to hold a professionalmeeting devoid of participants attacking one another and so a internal Iwi personal s!*&… fight doesnot occur.

This meeting is not to maintain the old guards controlling methods,secrecy, private meetings, and non-transparency system that created the mess theNgati Toa, Raukawa, Atiawa/Te Atiawa ki Whakarongotai Iwi Runanga and Trust endedup with.

In saying this; we have a similar system controlling theWhakarongotai Marae Komiti. One personhas lodged a complaint with Māori Land court over personal issues with theregistered marae reserve trustees? Whobelieve Marae Trustees, Marae committee and charitable trust trustees need tobe the same people, having total control… All people who sit on these committees are potentialnominees for the charitable trust, some being the old guard, prior to thecurrent people. The hui could be stacked with a majority of Ngati Toa or Raukawa people to gain control of Atiawa also.

It is time for the aged, old guard to retire with graceinstead of maintaining egos in a system that failed; and cannot be resurrected.

KCDC did not practice due diligence in that issue; it is amistake to believe the Mayor, and staff at KCDC will be permitted to do thisagain. We will not allow the confiscationof this land.

No Hui has been held with all the owners of this landever.
KCDC is accepting the word of oneor two people. Believing they can seizethis block of land under the Public Works Act in 2012, 13 or 14 depending ontheir timeline.
Incidentally, this timeline runsparallel to our Treaty Claims timeline.

One or two Iwi individuals will score a massive profit fromthe ancient Rimu trees that will be logged. None of the whanau that actually own the land will benefit at all. The trees will be felled prior to the dambeing constructed.

The assumption that we as owners of this block cannot, orwill not be permitted by KCDC to use this land for our own needs is acontemporary Treaty Claim Injustice against Ngatiawa ki Kapiti owners.

A solid commitmenthas been obtained by several of the land owners, to stand against those sellingus out to KCDC, and to protect our land. KCDC will have to meet with all the landowners, and listen to what we all have to say; they cannot accept the word of oneor two people who will profit individually from this confiscation.

Currently, a process is under way to begin communicating with all landowners of this block.

KCDC has been put on notice thatthe Te Atiawa ki Whakarongotai Runanga, Marae and Charitable Trust does notrepresent the owners of this land.

Ngatiawa ki Kapiti Treaty Claimants will support the whānau thatown this land.

The owners of this land lost land on the Kapiti Coast to the Māori Friendly’sAct/and government politician, highway one, the railway line, power lines, gaslines under the Public works act. Neverfully compensated for the value and services, they currently give to the widercommunity.

IncludingNikau Reserve privately owned land given as a reserve by the Runanga executive,for the price of a KCDC and Department of Conservation meeting fees. Originally owned by Te Kahutatara… the backgroundphoto of Nikau palms on this blog was taken in this reserve.

All who have shares in this land, who want to join us onthis journey nau mai, haere mai.

Not a hiko for the fainthearted - no disrespect intended... it will not be an easy conflict to resolve...

We will, however, notify everyone of actions taken, seek a consensus on all decisions for the land. Give progress reports on the debates needed to maintain ownership of this land.

The year has been full of many trials and tribulations. Several positive events occurred withprogressive outcomes.

One major negativeevent which was dealt with in the Office of Treaty Settlements, has received all the attention it isgoing to get.

Major Iwi resolutions are on the horizons to be activated inthe New Year.

Te Atiawa ki Whakarongotai Charitable Trust will not be shutdown.

We thank our young dynamic pakeke fortaking the time to explain why it cannot be. We thank a Member of Parliament, a Professor, supporters, whanau and investigator for their guidance in practicing kotahitanga.

The Maori Land Court (MLC) cannot shut a charitable trust down, MLC deals with land only. Charities Commission and Attorney General are the only government departments that can shut a registered charitable trust down.

We thank all of the Ngatiawa ki Kapiti Claimants and Whanau forstanding up for the rights of Ngatiawa Treaty Claims.

The New Year has awesome prospects…

Kotahitanga was achieved with 95% of Ngatiawa Whanau.

WHAT IS “ConfrontationalPolitics”

To understand confrontational politics one has to get theirminds out of the narrow world view some Māori perceive. Millions of Indigenous people getoppressed within their own rohe every day. Thousands of Māori visit those cultures dailyaround the world.

Confrontationalpolitics is an indigenous concept used to give minorities avoice.

It redefines “it’s a good day to die.”

“IT IS A GOOD DAY TO STAND UP FOR WHAT YOUBELIEVE IN.”

That is what “confrontationalpolitics” is all about; a method for the oppressed, abused and minorities toregain their Mana, and stand up for their rights. It is better than our people practicing violence, and ending up in prisons...

Minorities may not have the “big profiles” however, they dohave the right to own their own whakapapa and have human rights – even the pakehaversion of the Treaty of Waitangi permits that. What is NOT GOOD, it IS NOT the pakeha doing the abuse and oppression inthis case it is NGATI TOA.

Yes, wewere made aware prior to clustering hui a deal has been made with Ngai Tahu,Ngati Toa and Te Atiawa in the south to sort their own issues out and not usegovernment as the mediators.

Ngati Toa strategy on the Kapiti Coast is to practice paternalisticoppression, threats, intimidation and insist we do not acknowledge our tupuna wahinewhakapapa.

Their spokespeople, researchers and historians with degrees have convenientlyignored Te Tupe o Tu, Te Pukerangiora, Te Reretawhangawhanga, Pirikawau, EruiniTe Marau, and Te Rangaatake to name a few were actually males. Aue… it is laughable…

The complainant that filed objections to the Minister ofCharities Commission regarding the miss-management, and non-transparency ofAtiawa ki Whakarongotai Charitable Trust has agreed to a meditation hui withcurrent Trustees. To be facilitated bythe Charities Commission Investigators with strict conditions on who attendshui to maintain safety of complainant and trustees. Complainant will be accompanied by one of theNgatiawa WAI claims barristers.

Aim of the Hui is to resolve issues addressed incomplaint, and create a progressive plan to bring back to trust members. So Ngatiawa can move into the future in atransparent manner.

Investigation with Attorney General Hon. Chris Finlayson is on-going;Finlayson is also the Treaty of Waitangi Negotiations Minister.

Amicable peaceful korero occurred at the hui within therealms of grace and decorum.

Interestingquestions and statements came from one Ngati Toa Runanga Trustee. These were addressed with honesty and factual statements.

Clear statements were made regarding the decimationof Ngatiawa on the Kapiti Coast. Furthermore, the injustices that occurredagainst Ngatiawa within the Native Court - Ngarara West hearings.

Ngatiawa stated, we intend to write our ownhistory of our occupation on the Kapiti Coast from an Ngatiawa perspective.

Respect was given to Ngati Toa and Raukawaversions of events.

We as Ngatiawa reservethe right to write our own.

Thorough explanations were given by Leo regarding CrownForest Rental Trust funding and clustering criteria.

The Crown will only engage in meaningfuldiscussions with one Ngatiawa ki Kapiti/Atiawa clustered WAI claimant group.

Participants commented and appreciated the peaceful surroundings and respectful whanaungatanga of the hui on our own whenua.

Dispelling Historical Myths

A myth to be dispelled is in regards to Mataikahawai. It is humanly impossible for Pirikawau to behis father. Pirikawau died in 1875. Mataikahawai was 16 years old, on 27November, 1899. When as a minor hisinterest in Wiremu Tamati purchased land Ngarara West A47, was vested in HoaniTamati-Pirikawau and Ngaruatapuke as trustees.

He was taken to the Waitakere Funeral Home on Friday and returned home to Parihaka immediately after the service. Ka nui te aroha ki tona whanau. Moe mai e te whanaunga, te hoa e te rangatira hoki.

Congratulations to Rawiri Jenkins-Evans of Ngatiawa kiKapiti whom achieved a milestone by obtaining his degree of “Masters ofPhilosophy (Maori Studies)” at Massey University.

“Ki te mārama i te tangata me mārama hoki itōna ao” (if you wish to understand a

man, know theworld in which he lives) is a contribution to the field of cultural and

clinicalpractice. It offers insight into the connections between cultural and clinical

modes ofservice delivery and the inevitable interface between the two. In a broader

synergies and parallels, but alsoconflicts and contradictions.

Ngati Toarangatira cannot initial their Deed of Settlementwith the Office of Treaty Settlements (OTS) due to the current Supreme CourtCase brought against the OTS by our whanaunga at Poneke. This case is addressing issues regarding NgatiToa claims in Aatiawa Poneke territory.

Aatiawa Poneke issues with OTS are the equivalent to Ngatiawaki Kapiti WAI claimant’s complaint to OTS in August 2011; opposing Ngati Toa numerous claimsin Ngatiawa rohe.

A collective of Ngatiawa WAI claimants will be observingthis case with great interest.

Te Atiawa ki Whakarongotai Runanga and Trust Give Iwi Rights Away to Ngati Toa

Tūturu Ngatiawa ki Waikanae; who have shared Whakarongotai Marae with Ngati Toa and Raukawa since 1952 are being forced to divide permanently from the Marae.

The Marae Committee, Atiawa Trust, and Runanga were being bullied to give away Atiawa rights to Ngati Toa; this is due to a proposed allegiance to Ngati Toa governance. Suggested by Ngati Toa supporters, within Atiawa.

This non-democratic action was made with out consultation with the wider Iwi and Treaty Claimants. This was adamantly supported by those with Atiawa and Ngati Toa whakapapa with declared statements made by Queenie Rikihana, Mei Higgott, and Ani Parata.

The above mentioned failed to support the need to hold a Hui-a-Iwi with the membership based Trust and Runanga, to make the decision to give Atiawa rights and aspects of our Treaty Claims away to Ngati Toa.

This decision was made against legal advice and the wishes of Iwi members present.

In doing this once again it breached the Runanga and Trust constitution, NZ Bill of Rights and the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples.

None of the landowners has been notified of his intentions. None of the owners was notified when both Runanga Trustees Jack Rikihana and Daniel Mullen gave away some of this privately owned land to the KCDC for a walking track, without notifying the owners some years ago.

KCDC and the Greater Wellington Regional Council may believe this land is Runanga land, not privately owned Māori Land.

Maybe it is time for the National Party politicians to communicate with one another; as Gerry Brownlee, Paula Bennett, and Tony Ryall, actions do not support their colleague’s actions and investigations.

How can Gerry Brownlee justify INC. Trustees refusing to send minutes, hui notifications and have legitimate Hui with their membership based INC. he has permitted to register.

Atiawa ki Whakarongotai Charitable Trust Fisheries Database is Incorrect

What is sad, Ngatiawa ki Kapiti is not receiving our legalentitlement to fisheries' allocations, have not, and will not receive a full andfair Fisheries Treaty Claim Settlement compensation under the current regime!

This is due to individuals and Iwi company director’s powerand control issues along with their refusal to allow all whom whakapapa toWaikanae permission to register on the fisheries Atiawa ki Whakarongotai CharitableTrust database.
The Trust does not have over1500 members registered on the Fisheries database in accordance with the Māori FisheriesAct.
By eliminating 1000+ members becauseof individual personal issues, is an injustice and reduces Ngatiawa ki Kapitithe right to receive what we are entitled too from government.

The Ngatiawa ki Kapiti WAI 1018, 2010 updatedwhakapapa based, database is over 1500 people. This will continue to be updated.

Concerns Regarding Inshore Fisheries Settlement Registered with Crown

The Complaint sent to Hon Tariana Turei 14 March 2011; whichactivated the Charities Commission investigation. This complaint defined a rationale with atime line of documentation written by Runanga INC., Tihei, and Wharekohucompanies’ accountant.

The Crown has been notified. It is viewed as repugnant that violent abuserswithin the Iwi company directors and Iwi representatives; continue to be financially rewarded forviolent behaviour against women, men, and children within Ngatiawa kiKapiti. Ngatiawa ki Kapiti WAI 1018 wahineare represented in the Mana Wahine National WAI Claim 1808 to address theseissues.

The non-registered 2005 Atiawa ki Whakarongotai Charitable Trust,trustees have been rewarded with $415,000 cash for the last Treaty of Waitangi- Fisheries Settlement, which disappeared.

14 April 2011, an objection filed with the Attorney General/Min of Treaty ofWaitangi Negotiations – Hon Chris Finlayson , addresses the major concerns thesame men will receive the next proposed 2011/2012 “Inshore Fisheries - Treatyof Waitangi Settlement.” This willdisappear again into an abyss with no accountability. Also, present were Crown representatives from Office of TreatySettlements (OTS). The Tribunal heardfrom Muaūpoko and other non-Raukawa affiliated claimants.

Ngatiawa ki Kapitiprovided a statement of progress on the WAI 1018 claim:

Asection of this statement addressed the issue regarding the original name ofNgatiawa residents in Waikanae from 1818. How the name was changed under thedefunct Runanga Act, as Ati Awa ki Whakarongotai Inc. in 1990.

However,this was not the tribal name whom our tupuna Te Kahutatara 1^st andher son Pirikawau, Reretewhangawhanga his son Te Rangaatake (Wiremu Kingi), TePukerangiora and his daughter Te Kahutatara 2nd, Paeroke, Te Tupe o Tu, Te Haute Horo, Eruini Te Marau, and Waipunahau 1st to name a few were known as.

TheTreaty of Waitangi was signed under Ngatiawa at Waikanae 16 May 1840, witnessedby Henry Williams and Octavius Hadfield.

Astatement was made that an internal unification process of Treaty Claimants inour rohe has begun, with approx. 80% of claimants willing to unify.

Due to awhānaungatanga, Hui held at the Port Nicholson Trust offices, Poneke. Wecould confirm our Poneke and Parihaka-Taranaki whanau support us in our claims.

Responses to Statements in Report:

Unauthorised mediareleases provided a considerable barrier to the disputes resolution, particularlyas every issue bought to the media attention was proved false.

Why did Atiawa ki WhakarongotaiCharitable Trust Board and Te Runanga o Atiawa ki Whakarongotai Inc. pay moneyback as CCDHB staff stated in newspaper articles. Another big lie/tito written in this Chairman’sreport, no one pays back money if they were legally entitled to it in the firstplace.

Whakaruruhau blogsite still continues to pull individuals to pieces.

Itis a fact Whakaruruhau did not, do not have anything to do with this blog. As a known bully in the Iwi who likes tothrow his weight around in a thuggish manner. This statement so ridiculous. Two blog writers one Apihaka Mackattended the Atiawa ki Whakarongotai Charitable Trust Board, AGM atWhakarongotai Marae 5 March 2011. Apihaka filmed the AGM; Toka Graham sat three seats to the left of herfor 2 hours. Which was ample time for himself,the company directors, trustees, and runanga executive to confront her; no onewould look her in the eye or say one word. Charities Commission investigator has a copyof the video Apihaka recorded during the Hui; which proves she was in the hui.

There are no police or fraud investigations.

The Attorney General hasstated there are two investigations on going with Crown Law and CharitiesCommission office. No investigationswould be occurring in either office, if there had not been some type of obviousfraudulent behaviour with the Trust and Runanga. Is the Chairman, Toka Graham calling Hon ChrisFinlayson a liar?

Runanga Inc Constitution Section 6.1:Twenty-one days’ notice shall be given in appropriate media, or by publicnotice where significant concentration of members reside.

To date no onecan find advertisement in the Kapiti Observer for 2 June 2011, which is thenormal paper the Runanga, places its advertisements. From information, gathered Toka Graham is holdinghis Runanga AGM at the Waikanae Recreation Hall, we assume on 26 June 2011 as Chairman’sreport states.

The Runanga nolonger hold hui-a-marama 6 times a year as stated in Section 12.1 of Runanga constitution. The meetings at Elizabeth St, Waikanae areexclusive only selected Iwi members are notified they are occurring. 96% of Iwi did not receive minutesfrom 2010 May AGM that stated 90 people attended AGM. Thisletter was received 9 June 2011, it states, “you have raised some seriousissues in relation to the Trust which have required extensive inquires by CrownLaw.” Crown Law Office is seeking furtherinformation, “from the Ati Awa ki Whakarongotai trust board.” Furthermore, the letter reiterates the,

“Crown Law officedoes not interfere in investigations by the Charities Commission,”

Side affects of laying a formal complaint to government andinterfering with controllers of Iwi finances:

The first gremlin that comes out is “it’s a personalvendetta,” this statement distracts all Iwi members away from the real issuesof missing money.

We have been told other Iwi have similar problems one had $6million disappear and another $35 million. The investigation into the financial activities ofthe Te Runanga o Atiawa ki Whakarongotai Inc. 2000 – 2011; Atiawa kiWhakarongotai unregistered private charitable trust 2005-2007, and registeredAtiawa ki Whakarongotai charitable trust board 2007-2011. This trust wasderegistered in 2009 and permitted to re-register in 2010. Theinvestigation into the trust involves the use of Ministry of Social Developmentmoney spent on an “Iwi Social Services” sojourn to Croatia with Paora Ropata Snrand his daughter in-law the Iwi Social Services manager.

This investigation also involves Te Runanga oAtiawa ki Whakarongotai Inc. use of CCDHB and Fisheries Treaty Settlement moneyinvested into the privately registered company Tihei Ltd and otherinvestments. Wharekohu Fisheries Ltd originally owned by Iwi members isalso undergoing financial scrutiny 1997-2011.

Nga Kuia o Ngatiawa kiKapiti has been re-assured; theintegrity of Charities Commission-Investigation has not been compromised.

The Investigators acknowledge the complexrelationships between siblings, sons, fathers, koro and uncles of the peoplebeing investigated, those trying to protect the Parata whanau only, and Kuiawho laid complaint. These whanau relationships have nothing to do withthe financial decisions made exclusively by the trustees, Runanga executive,company directors, and shareholders 2000-2011.

It is wise for all Iwi members to remember, thatthe Inc. is supposedly a membership based charity for the benefit to allwho whakapapa to Te Atiawa ki Kapiti.
A suggested mediation resolution process with NgatiToa involved as mediators between directors, trustees, shareholders, IwiMembers, and complainants is not an option accepted by nga kuia o Ngatiawa kiKapiti complainants. Neither is adopting the best business practises model of NgatiToa an option. Ngati Toa has a conflict of interest with Ngatiawa kiKapiti Treaty Claims.

Nga kuia o Ngatiawa ki Kapiti do advocate for amediation process to gain an acceptable internal resolution.

One of several acceptable resolutions will permit rangatahi toprogress into the future without being tainted by current trustees,shareholders, company directors and Iwi executives’ financialindiscretions. We have some well-educated people between the ages of25-55 years quiet capable of managing and operating our Iwi trust andbusinesses with integrity and accountability.

The Trust report states, the Trust owes Wharekohu$25,000. In Te Runanga o Atiawa kiWhakarongotai Inc. financial reports freely available on the IncorporatedSocieties website, Wharekohu borrowed over $90,000 of Hora te Pai-CCDHB money 2001-2004.

Has Wharekohu Ltd paid this money back to CCDHB or the Runanga? On the other hand,has it been written off… another injustice if it has been.

How can it be accepted a Trust belonging Iwi members, whosupposedly owns the Runanga and Wharekohu fisheries? Is telling us we owe Wharekohu $25,000after Wharekohu Directors borrowed $90,000 from Hora te Pai Health unit. This money was supposed to have been spent onthe health of our people.

We have to “suck it up” and accept Damien's Tihei Ltd, can lose $415,000 fisheries settlement, $200,000 ofhealth money with Tihei Ltd, and Wharekohu can borrow $90,000.

We cannot believe what is stated by Bill Carter as he is one of the Iwi company Directors, participant, also stood and watched our, Iwi finances being depleted. According to Crown Counsel Mar 2011, they have received correspondencefrom the Atiawa Trust. We assume Bill Carter,Paora Ropata and the ex-Chairman are the people who participated in the correspondence.

It has NOT been confirmed by the Ombudsmen’s investigator,that the Auditor General’s office is NOT investigating financial improprieties,carried out with government money by the Atiawa ki Whakarongotai Trust:2000-2011 Te Runanga o Atiawa ki Whakarongotai Inc, and CCDHB.

Who is actually making the decisions to use the Trust beneficiaries’money to shut the blog down?

We do havea letter from Bill Carter signed as the Chairman of the Ati Awa kiWhakarongotai Holdings Ltd, in consultationwith Paora Ropata Acting Chairman of the Atiawa ki Whakarongotai CharitableTrust Board with a raft of broken confidences, and Police threats. Furthermore, stating the perpetrators whanau iscontemplating laying Police charges. These two people are named because they control a previously government funded Trust, and receive money from a company belonging to a membership based Charitable Trust.

We have been notified by third parties they received an overseas junket to Croatia we believe - definitely Europe funded by Iwi Social services with government funding. No reports or benefits to the Iwi provided to beneficiaries for this hiko, who knows what report was given to government to justify spending. Also numerous trips to Wharekauri (Chatam Islands) on beneficiaries Fisheries money - for what is yet to be revealed. We know, all fisheries settlement money disappeared and money received currently is not used for any Charitable act for the benefit of the beneficiaries. If all of this is untrue take it to court and bring your passports and report to Min Social Development. Also proof travel to Wharekauri was not paid for by the Trust or Trust companies money ever. The only person currently receiving beneficiaries fisheries money is the Lawyer. Used in attempts to shut the members mouths - this has failed in the past.

It is very important to note Bill Carter disclosed the name to thewhanau concerned; and who knows who else. After he broke the confidences of two people, and refused to contact theoriginal source which is not this blog writer. The original source is still waiting for thephone call.

The blog writer and other Kuia in the Iwi have no fear in beingtaken to court, for shedding light on the underbelly of the “paedophile prisonof silence” in our Iwi. There has been a request to remove referrals to Sexual Abuseposts. We will not remove posts as the issues addressed has had serious consequencesfor an Atiawa 2 year old pēpe, who will die of AIDS soon. Whose health the Māori HIV/AIDS Foundation (INA),is watching, powerlessly deteriorate.

Due to the abuse of the Mother as a young child - by a family member. They were rejected, by their Atiawa whanau in the Kapiti Region. The victim and pēpecommitted no crime.

Giving awareness to this issue is worth all forms of embarrassment;if one pēpe can be saved from dying from the agonising death of Aids.

Freeing victims from the “paedophile’s prison of silence,”our tamariki can be treated with medication before it is too late. As that is what occurred with this pēpe.

The tamariki, wahine and tane can be testedand receive medication to save their lives.

Sitting in judgement of the victims of these crimes promotesthe spread of HIV in Māori communities.

How much of our Iwi money is being spent to shut this blog down? It is going to cost the Iwi a fortune... Is it worth it?

We hear the Marae needs a new commercial toaster - you will get more value for money by buying the Marae a toaster.

In the film of the 2011 Trust AGM Paora Ropata states, very clearly "do not ask the Charitable Trust for money, we have none." Yet once again there is plenty of money for Lawyers, to shut the mouths of Iwi members. The only other alternative is convincing Police to lay charges against the blog.
No one has been able to shut controversial sites Wikileaks or whaleoil.gotcha.co.nz/ down. So good luck, please do not spend to much of our Iwi Fisheries money on this kaupapa. The Marae still needs a dishwasher, and we have whanau who need help with school fees for tamariki. We would rather the tamariki got the lawyers fees; than money being wasted on "fighting to shut this blog down".

Within Kotahitanga all members of an Iwi are embraced nomatter what...

A question to Paora Ropata Trustee and Bill Carter who is responsible for registering Trustees with the Charitable Trust Commission on TeAtiawa ki Whakarongotai Charitable Trust Board.

HOW IS THE TRUST?

“applying trust property for charitable objects andis it continuing to carry out its charitable objects. Also can they confirm the Trust Board’scharitable activities.”

How are all members of this Charitable Trust actually being cared for?
Are our people okay?
Do they have a roof over their heads?
Do they have enough food?
Can they afford to send their children toschool?

The trustees need to think about this when theyare spending Iwi money from the Asset Holding company, on lawyers to maintain non-transparency and to silence those who ask questions.
How much money was paid to Trustees and selected Kaumatua from 2005 to 2011?
The money went somewhere...

A majority of the Iwi is not interested inmaking excuses for Trustees who lost the money; or the people who register these Trusteeson this Trust.
Their actions were not honourable.
95% of members were not privy to Trusts financial decisionsfrom 2005 and when Trust was finally registered in 2007 to January 2010.

These people have forgotten a very important fact. They are all responsible for losing Charitable Trust members money and contracts that belonged to Iwi members...
